Going to Court
There are many different types of courts in Jersey. Family
courts, Youth courts, Magistrates courts and Royal court.
They are all there for a different purpose.
If you are charged with a criminal offence and are due to appear
in court, an Advocate will be able to advise you regarding the
legal process.
Most cases are heard in the lower courts by either a Magistrate
(Magistrate/s Court) or the Youth panel (Youth Court).
