Registering for Services

You might already have a doctor, dentist and optician but if
not, it's best to get one in case of emergencies.
Libraires or the Citizens Advice Bureau will be able to give you
a list of locla doctors, dentists or opticians. Alternatively you
can look them up in the Yellow Pages of the phonebook.
DENTAL HEALTH
The Jersey Dental Fitness Scheme is designed to help young
people look after their teeth.
You can join the scheme if you are between 11 - 18 years old and
up to age 21 if you are in full time education.
You must have lived in Jersey for 5 years or been in full time
education for at least 2 years.
Entry onto the scheme is assessed on your family's income. Most
dentists take part in the scheme and assess your dental needs
before setting a monthly fee for routine dental care.
