Workwise
What is
Workwise?
If you require any advice or guidance please
contact Workwise.
You will be asked to give general information about yourself and
explain how your special employment needs affects your ability to
work.
If you meet the Workwise criteria you will be assigned a job
coach.
What is a job
coach?
A job coach is a Workwise advisor who will work
closely with you and help you find suitable employment.
If it is needed, your job coach may help you prepare an action
plan.
This action plan will enable you to recognise your current
strengths and weaknesses as well as employment potential, whilst
focusing on suitable and realistic employment
opportunities.
What about
training?
If needed, a variety of training courses are
available to help you into employment. These
include
-
preparation for work
-
confidence building
-
personal development
-
computer training
-
work experience programmes
Workwise can also offer support with any of the
employment process including:
-
completing application forms
-
updating a C.V
-
improving interview techniques
I am working, but I have difficulty with
some aspects of my job. What should I
do?
If you are already employed but are having some
difficulty with your present job, you or your employer might
consider speaking to a member of the Workwise
team.
